Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team of professionals in the field of environmental equipment consultancy for data centers. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems that support the eco-friendly and energy-efficient operation of data centers.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems Design: Design, review, and analyze electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, backup power systems, and monitoring equipment, to ensure they meet the unique requirements of data center environmental solutions.

Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance and recommendations on electrical systems and equipment to enhance data center sustainability and efficiency.

Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering, power distribution, and environmental control systems for data centers, and apply this knowledge to design cutting-edge solutions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards and environmental regulations, taking into account best practices for energy conservation and environmental impact reduction.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure electrical systems are designed and installed accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Project Management: Lead and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and environmental specialists, to develop holistic solutions that address data center environmental concerns.

Documentation: Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
Expertise in power distribution systems, backup power solutions, and environmental controls for data centers.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Project management experience is a plus.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, operation, installation, and selection of critical systems within data centers. These systems include firefighting, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and generators. You will also be expected to navigate and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and Egyptian codes.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Firefighting Systems: Design and oversee the installation of firefighting systems to ensure the safety and protection of data center infrastructure.
Plumbing and Drainage Design: Develop efficient plumbing and drainage systems that meet the specific needs of data centers and comply with applicable codes and standards.
HVAC Systems: Lead the design, perform HAP calculations, oversee installation, and ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems, aiming for optimal environmental control.
Generators: Select and oversee the installation of backup generators, ensuring their reliable performance and compliance with industry standards.
Code and Standards Compliance: Stay updated with and navigate various industry codes and standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and Egyptian codes, to ensure that all designs and installations adhere to the highest regulatory and environmental standards.
